Cali Fund Gets UK Backing
The first contribution to the Cali Fund has been made by a company from the UK - TierraViva AI.
The Cali Fund is a new multilateral fund that aims to protect biodiversity and champion local communities. It uses private sector investment to ensure that indigenous people and communities are recognised and able to benefit from the use of nature-based digital genetic data.
The fund will mobilise private sector finance for nature, creating a fairer environment and helping to fight against the nature crisis.
