Pearl Hyde Community Primary School Visit Parliament

Mary Creagh MP with students and teachers from Pearl Hyde Community Primary School

Mary Creagh MP recently welcomed Pearl Hyde Community Primary School to Parliament. They had a tour, watched a debate in the House of Lords, and had a Q&A session with Mary. The students, from Years 4, 5 and 6, are members of their school parliament and eco-team. The students quizzed Mary on the role of the Speaker, where Ministers sit in the House of Commons, and the importance of picking up rubbish in Coventry.

For Coventry schools interested in touring Parliament, bookings open on the 13th of May at 10am. These tours are always popular and book up very fast, so be sure to register in advance and be ready to book on the day. Assistance with travel costs may also be available.
