Coventry Students Visit Mary and Mr. Speaker

Mary Creagh MP with Ria and Otti in the Houses of Parliament

Mary welcomed two first year university students from Coventry, Ria and Otti, to Westminster this week. They had a tour of Parliament with Mary’s team, saw the Speaker’s procession and watched Prime Ministers’ Questions from the gallery.

After that they had lunch with Mary and met Mr. Speaker, Sir Lindsay Hoyle, at an event hosted for the speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament.

Ria, who lives in Henley, said ‘the day has be absolutely eye-opening into the workd of politics from within the walls of Parliament. A truly unforgettable day and a definite reminder of why I want to pursue a career in the field of politics.’

If you would like to visit parliament or have a tour of Big Ben (usually £35), visit as a large or small group and maybe even watch Prime Ministers’ Questions from the gallery, email mary@marycreagh.co.uk.
