Courthouse Green welcomes Mary Creagh MP

Mary Creagh MP, Minister for Nature, with members of Courthouse Green’s Eco Team outside their new sensory garden

Mary Creagh MP was welcomed by pupils of Courthouse Green Primary School. Some of the the students, had met Mary in parliament last year, were excited to welcome her to their school in Bell Green.

They showed Mary their school library, and discussed the work they are doing as an Eco Team. The pupils have met with people from Severn Trent, LetsGoZero, Warwickshire Wildlife Trust, to learn about different aspects of environmentalism and recycling measures.

Mary delivered an assembly, and talked to the school about her work as an MP and Minister, and how everyone can all do their bit to help the environment.

Mary officially cut the ribbon to open the school’s brand new sensory garden. She gave the Eco Team a birdbox for their garden and they agreed on the best place to hang it.
