Mary attends Ossett School's Presentation Evening 2010

Mary was delighted to attend Ossett School and 6th Form College's Presentation Evening 2010 on Friday 19 November. She presented prizes to students in Years 7-11 and Year 13. She also gave a speech to parents, students and staff as well as presenting special prizes for Achievement in Sport, Services to School and Community, and Special Achievement.

She thanked Ossett School Headteacher Martin Shevill and Chair of Governors David Drake for inviting her to the magnificent event.

Mary said "I was delighted to attend Ossett School to present prizes to students. 95% of students got 5 or more GCSEs last year, the best results in the history of the school. The A level pass rate was 96%. Congratulations to all the students, staff and parents on these fantastic results!

"A special thank you to Eleanor Burkinshaw for sending me the photo we had taken together on Friday evening. I presented Eleanor with a special prize for services to sport."
