Mary chairs Labour Fresh Ideas event

- David Hanson MP, Mary Creagh and Cllr Bryan Grew
Shadow Environment Secretary Mary Creagh visited the North Wales constituency of Delyn on Monday 7 March 2011. Delyn MP David Hanson welcomed Mary to Flint as part of the Labour Party’s ‘Fresh Ideas’ national consultation.
Mary and David met with over 30 constituents to discuss environmental policy and more generally about how we can go about building a more successful future for all.
Mary said "I was delighted to visit Flint and meet so many enthusiastic people. My thanks to David for helping to organise an excellent event."
David Hanson said: “This event was an opportunity for local people to meet with Labour’s Environment Spokesperson and feed in their thoughts on issues like climate change and renewable energy.
“The debate also broadened to issues of wider policy and there was a real positive engagement from attendees.”
