Mary meets Eastmoor residents to discuss digital TV

On Friday 19 November Mary was at the St Swithuns Community Centre on Eastmoor to talk to people about the switchover of TV to digital services. This will take place in September 2011 and the event was organised by the Digital TV Help Scheme to let people know about installing their new digital boxes. 

Mary said "I'm particularly concerned that elderly and vulnerable people may not have all the information they need in advance of the switchover and could be vulnerable to con merchants going door to door.
