She presented Big Ben pin badges and certificates to overall winner for Wakefield, Madeline Copley (aged 6) and age category winner Penelope Cross (aged 5).
Mary Creagh, MP for Wakefield said: “I was delighted to visit to Dane Royd again. It was a pleasure to meet Madeline and Penelope who should be proud of their achievements in winning prizes from the Keeper of the Big Ben clock! It was also a chance for me to wish the Year 6 children good luck with their transfer to secondary school. I also saw pupils’ new artwork which has been put onto the PE equipment shed".
